Pittsburgh, PA Purpose
Our painters perform a variety of tasks, such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting businesses. You have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials and are comfortable using hands and power tools to get the job done.
- Use of power spray equipment
- Experience using scissors and boom lifts
- Treat painted surfaces with prime or sealer
- Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
- Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed
- Assemble scaffolding when required
- Prepare surface for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding
Qualifications
- Experience with painting tools and techniques
- Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred
- 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required
- Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required
- Valid driver’s license required
