Jane Dixon is the President of Mount West Investments, a closely held real estate and private equity investment company. She is responsible for the evaluation of investment opportunities, works closely with the executive management teams, and serves on the board of various portfolio companies.
Prior to her current role, Jane was the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Iron City Sash & Door Company, one of the nation’s largest distributors of Andersen Windows and other building products with 450 employees and seven distribution facilities. In her 15 years as Chief Financial Officer, she was responsible for the executive supervision of the business including accounting, finance, plant operations, human resources, legal, risk management, information technology, and new business ventures.
Janes was an audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she specialized in auditing financial institutions as well as a wide variety of public and private companies in such industries as manufacturing, distribution, and higher education.
Jane has applied her considerable experience in corporate governance and strategic policy to a variety of business and civic interests. Jane is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Aviary, and previously served as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. Jane is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (CLO) and founding member of the CLO Ambassadors. Jane served on the Board of Directors of Ohio Valley General Hospital, where she was Chair of the Audit and Nominating Committees. She previously served on the Board of Regents of LaRoche College and the Board of Directors of Gateway to the Arts.
Jane is the 2019 recipient of the Pennsylvania Principals Association’s Service to Children Award for establishing the Montour Classroom Cupboard, the first district-wide food pantry in Western Pennsylvania.
Jane is a graduate of Grove City College and is a certified public accountant. She has served as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Program at Grove City College and is currently a member of the College’s Business Advisory Group.
