Lafe Metz is the Associate General Counsel for Hillwood Development Company, a Perot family company headquartered in Dallas focusing on logistics and industrial development across the United States, Canada and Europe.
Lafe is responsible for all legal matters for Hillwood’s Northeast Region including development, construction, leasing and sale of millions of square feet of Class-A industrial projects. Before joining Hillwood, Lafe was a shareholder at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in Pittsburgh where he chaired the Real Estate Group for 10 years.
Lafe received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, and a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and Steel City Squash and is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
